My client, is a leading Investment Bank, located in New York City.

Job Description

Provide support to senior leadership through the corporate and consolidated financial planning and analysis processes.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Support the consolidation of actual result analytics, annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the corporation

  • Support coordination and preparation of materials in advance of quarterly earnings calls

  • Develop consolidated analytic presentation materials for senior management reviews

  • Prepare data-driven analysis for executive leadership to support their decision making and prepare Board-level reporting

  • Develop and own financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives

  • Support the analysis on capital structure strategies and incentive compensation programs review

  • Ensure close coordination across several different lines of business and support functions that are geographically dispersed

  • Identify opportunities to automate and/or enhance existing processes

  • Participate in special projects as assigned by Finance management

Scope/Supervision and Interaction

  • Interaction with various business and staff functions and senior business management

  • Identify and present management with recommendations for resolving key and complex issues

  • Mentor, coach and guide Financial Analyst(s) within Planning globally

The Successful Applicant

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business discipline

  • CPA, MBA and/or other relevant professional qualification a plus

  • 1-3 years of business experience in Accounting (Public Accounting Preferred) or Financial Planning and Analysis role

  • Exposure to working with senior leaders on financial planning and/or reporting

  • Experience in using business intelligent tools, planning systems and financial modeling
