Job Description

  • Manage policy-related accounting activities, including reconciliation between sub-ledger systems and the general ledger.
  • Support cash positioning, liquidity monitoring, and day-to-day banking operations.
  • Oversee accounts payable processes to ensure timely and accurate transaction recording.
  • Manage bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Coordinate financial compliance activities, including tax-related reporting and statutory requirements as applicable.
  • Contribute to finance transformation efforts, including automation of manual workflows and integration of accounting and reporting systems.
  • Partner with the broader finance team during month-end and quarter-end close activities to support timely completion of reconciliations and reporting.
  • Support external audit processes and regulatory examinations.
  • Assist senior management with ad hoc analysis, special projects, and other finance-related initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Operations Manager should have:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
  • 6 or more years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with ERP or EPM systems required, exposure to enterprise accounting and consolidation tools preferred.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
