Financial Reporting Manager | Wealth Management | Oak Brook

• Lead the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant accounting standards.
• Oversee and manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments are made on time.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and external reporting requirements, including tax filings and statutory reports.
• Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results to budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, and prepare detailed explanations for variances to management.
• Act as the point of contact for external auditors, preparing schedules, providing documentation, and addressing audit inquiries during the annual audit process.
• Identify areas for improvement within the financial reporting process, recommending and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
