  • Assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and filings quarterly (i.e. 10-Q) and annually (i.e. 10-K) in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and other regulatory commission requirements
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirement
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience (public company or public accounting preferred)
  • Strong, demonstrated understanding of and ability to apply accounting concepts and principles
  • The ability to meet tight deadlines is essential
  • Proficient with MS Excel and Word
  • Experience with general ledger programs such as Oracle preferred
  • Excellent organization, analytical, problem-solving, and oral and written communication skills required
  • Strong teamwork skills and a professional attitude
