Floating Solar - Development Manager - California

The Floating Solar - Development Manager - California will focus on leading development through forging relationships with landowners, community leaders, utilities and stakeholder organizations.

Essential responsibilities include:

• Identify new greenfield Floating PV (FPV) Distributed Generation (DG) project opportunities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with landowners, off-takers, and community members.
• Advance the development of assigned projects to construction ready status.
• Manage internal and external resources to achieve site control, permitting, interconnection, and financing, with accountability for budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with Technical and Finance leads to design floating solar solutions that maximize returns given commercial strategy/use cases, performance requirements, and site constraints.
• Create and maintain project maps, databases and tracking tools for assigned projects.
• Perform regional market and competitive analysis as requested.
• Support commercial and power marketing efforts for assigned projects.
• Support due diligence on project acquisition opportunities as requested.
