The Front Desk Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to the Secretarial & Business Support department within the Financial Services industry. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is on-site Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm and is a 6 month contract.
  • 6 month opportunity with the potential for extension.
  • Must be local and able to commute to Houston (Downtown/Central area).

Job Description

  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.
  • Handle conference room logistics and scheduling.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments as needed.
  • Maintain and organize office supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with document preparation and data entry tasks.
  • Support team members with administrative projects and tasks.
  • Ensure a clean and welcoming front desk and office environment.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

The Successful Applicant

  • 1-3+ years of experience in a corporate environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • SAP & Concur experience is required.
  • A professional demeanor and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
