The Fund Accounting Supervisor will manage a team of three and oversee the daily operations for fund administration, establishing processes for monthly and quarterly reporting, financial statements. This supervisor will have direct exposure to the Board of Trustees, assist with customer inquires and establish relationships with external partners.

Job Description



  • Supervise the mutual funds team, managing daily operations, setting priorities, and guiding transaction processing, fund accounting, and financial statement preparation.


  • Ensure adherence to fund accounting policies and procedures across the team.


  • Review financial statements, Board of Trustee materials, budgets, and marketing materials for accuracy and timeliness, serving as a resource for junior staff.


  • Oversee the preparation of annual reports, prospectus documents, and regulatory filings.


  • Build relationships with external fund administration agents and handle customer service inquiries as needed.


  • Stay informed on industry trends and market changes, updating senior staff on relevant impacts.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in the financial services or public accounting industry
  • Strong understanding of fund administration, ideally outside of real estate
  • Ability to manage and develop a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
