General Ledger Accountant - League City

• Assist business partners, Division Presidents, VP of Accounting and Financial Controller as needed
• Assist Senior Accountant during month end and year end close.

• Preparation of journal entries including cash receipts, inter-company transfers, and payroll.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Reconcile bank statements and report discrepancies to the Financial Controller.
• Certify expense report processing and reconciliation.

• Compiling and analyzing financial information to ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
• Prepare documents and support for audits.
• Maintain internal controls and procedures.
• Analyze current procedures and recommend changes to develop and implement best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
