About Our Client
Run by three highly involved owners, our client is commercial General Contractor with roughly 75 employees doing between $300M and $400M in Revenue. They do mainly Ground-up and/or renovation of many different types of projects including Healthcare, Industrial, and Municipal/Federal buildings. They pride themselves on hands-on leadership that enjoy training newcomers.
Job Description
The General Superintendent will:
- Scheduling / creating master schedules - labor management
- Training & mentoring lesser experienced superintendents, participating in new hires & interviews & team building
- Establishing best practices for field leadership
- Tracking progress / timeliness of multiple ongoing projects & managing field personnel and superintendents
- Working hand in hand with project management and executive leaders to develop and improve operations procedures and systems
- client communications and client interviews on select bid projects

The Successful Applicant
The General Superintendent will have:
- 15 + years of Commercial Construction Experience (recommended)
- 5+ years as a Lead / General Superintendent (recommended)
- Strong tenure with employers
- Strong experience with ProCore or similar software
- Strong ability to read drawings and specifications
- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibits strong leadership qualities
- Strong decision making/problem solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
