About Our Client

Run by three highly involved owners, our client is commercial General Contractor with roughly 75 employees doing between $300M and $400M in Revenue. They do mainly Ground-up and/or renovation of many different types of projects including Healthcare, Industrial, and Municipal/Federal buildings. They pride themselves on hands-on leadership that enjoy training newcomers.

Job Description

The General Superintendent will:

  • Scheduling / creating master schedules - labor management
  • Training & mentoring lesser experienced superintendents, participating in new hires & interviews & team building
  • Establishing best practices for field leadership
  • Tracking progress / timeliness of multiple ongoing projects & managing field personnel and superintendents
  • Working hand in hand with project management and executive leaders to develop and improve operations procedures and systems
  • client communications and client interviews on select bid projects

The Successful Applicant

The General Superintendent will have:

  • 15 + years of Commercial Construction Experience (recommended)
  • 5+ years as a Lead / General Superintendent (recommended)
  • Strong tenure with employers
  • Strong experience with ProCore or similar software
  • Strong ability to read drawings and specifications
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exhibits strong leadership qualities
  • Strong decision making/problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
