The Global Director of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality) will be responsible for leading the manufacturing quality initiatives and standards across 10 manufacturing plants globally with a heavy focus on the Americas region. The Global Director of SHEQ will also lead Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) for the global enterprise driving process, policies, and improvement for safety, health, and environmental ensuring goals are met set by the organization and by regulatory compliance. The Global Director of SHEQ will be customer facing to address and resolve all product quality issues as well. This person will report to the EVP (Executive Vice President - CEO minus 1) and drive a lean, but growing team. This role is onsite and based in the Mid - Southeast region of the United States. Relocation will be required with relocation assistance provided.Job DescriptionDrive overall enterprise SHEQ leadership, culture and standards working with a high level of integrity and drivingLead manufacturing quality initiatives across multi plants in the Americas region and globe to ensure quality standards are being met and exceededRepresent the Voice of Customer regarding quality standardsEnsure full execution of corporate initiatives relating to quality, safety, environmental, and health across all the business units globallyEstablish and report against KPIs for the functions reporting results to the EVP and Leadership teamManage and executive all operational decisions regarding quality and environmental, health, and safety across manufacturing plantsEnsure a reduction in workplace incidents and environmental hazards driving continuous improvementWork in partnership with the Operations Leaders on improving operations driving lean and six sigma practicesMaintain and ensure full compliance with local and international regulationsLead and participate in OSHA auditsLead the global enterprise sustainability programConduct internal reviews on quality management systems based, ISO14001 and ISO45001Drive change and process improvements across multi manufacturing plantsPage Group USA is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Chemical Engineering or related15 years plus of experience in manufacturing, quality, safety, environmental and health5 years of management experience leading multi plants HSEQExperience in chemical industry or related highly preferredExperience working in a global organizationMust be action oriented working through challenges and problems with a high sense of urgencyExperience driving continuous improvementAbility to work with all levels of managementBusiness minded and strong teamwork and takes accountability and ownership of team and functionStrong communication and leadership skillsCan simplify and work through complex sometimes contradictory situations and problems ensuring to find a solutionFluent in English, Spanish is a plusISO14001, ISO45001, ISO 31000Strong work ethic and high attention to detailAbility to travel 50%What's on OfferCompetitive base salary $185,000 - $235,000, annual bonus, full benefits, relocation assistance, 401K, vacation, holidays.
