This role is 3 days per week in office with 2 from home, and offers an individual with NYC & NYS grant billing experience a chance to work on a collaborative team at a mission-driven nonprofit organization.Job DescriptionThis role will involve:Grant Accounting/Billing: 80% - 90%Prepare financial reports and invoices for all grants to ensure timely and accurate submission to government funders and private foundations.Ensure financial compliance with government and private foundation funding requirements.Prepare journal entries and allocations as needed.Respond to funder-related inquiries from key stakeholders at Met Council and various agencies.Assist in the preparation of funder desk audits.Maintain accurate and updated financial records and files.Special Projects: 10% - 20%Assist the Director of Budgets and Grants Management in the preparation of special financial reports and projections as needed.Maintain database of administrative contracts.
