About Our Client
Our client is a leader in blockchain technologies, they operate in three main business units: Advisory, Markets and Asset Management.
The Markets business consists of Exchange, Custody and Trading. The exchange team is primarily based in Hong Kong and Japan with experienced professionals from financial services, compliance, trading system development, and blockchain development backgrounds. The team is building a new digital asset exchange that is purpose-built for institutional and accredited investors. The vision of the exchange is to be the first fully compliant, institutional grade trading platform that fully acts in accordance with the best interests of its participants.
The sales team looks after all client relationships, sitting cross functionally within the markets business. The team serves as the faces of out client within the blockchain, digital asset and institutional investors community, providing robust solutions and professional services. The sales team works closely with each business heads to shape and deliver the go to market strategy. The sales team drives revenues to the firm by servicing existing clients, bringing on new opportunities and partnerships.
The role works closely with the Head of Exchange to define customer segmentation, identify business opportunity, and bringing in revenues for the exchange business.
The role works closely with the marketing team to align messaging, coordinate on branding exercises and attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads.
The role also involves cross functional duties for other products. Our client is a digital asset full-service provider and every salesperson is capable and incentivized to service all products within the firm.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree or higher with 10+ years of institutional sales experience, with previous experience traditional financial products
- Be a leader with a high EQ and small ego, with a track record of building strong relationships and driving new business opportunities
- Highly flexible; comfortable working with ambiguity, frequently changing deadlines and minimal supervision
- Superior writing and editorial skills in English, marketing experience a plus
- Self-motivated and relentless
- Knowledge of digital currencies space and strong desire to learn
