Description
- Ownership of the P&L and supporting in the monthly review meetings
- Deliver a step change in the quality of business, which will include automating processes, standardizing reports, leveraging the existing BI solutions, and using analysis to challenge management to drive improvements in commercial, financial and operational performance
- Manage the weekly and monthly reporting processes to ensure that there are "no surprises" and that the drivers of performance are clearly communicated. Identify gaps to budget and lead on identifying opportunities and driving completion
- Deliver insightful monthly reporting to CEO and board
- Trends, issues, risks, and opportunities to be understood and clearly articulated - customer and service line profitability
- Manage the Regional budgeting process. Preparation, implementation, review, and communication of the budget process as well delivering the final Regional budget presentation.
- Supporting and contributing to the change projects and initiatives
- Proactively analyze costing allocations and ensure data integrity is maintained
- Collation and first review of capex
- Create value for the shareholders
The Successful Applicant
Qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience
- CPA a plus
- Fund raising experience
- Experience in a commercial industry, prefer food and beverage or hospitality retail
- Self-starter
- Strong business partnering experience - "understands what good looks like"
- Comfortable with communicating with senior directors as well getting involved in the detail
- Experience of working for a company of a similar size or start-up company
- Inquisitive
- People person
- Astute commercial and business acumen
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
