Description

  • Analyze proposal requests to plan labor, materials and time requirements for a cost estimate
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing and prepare bid estimates
  • Review bid documents such as instructions, blueprints and specifications
  • Gather first-hand information from sites.
  • Use software for data analysis, forecasting and budgeting
  • Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, etc.)
  • Provide consultation on planning (schedules, manpower needs, etc.)
  • Build and maintain relationships with key vendors, subcontractors and clients
  • Follow company and state policies and procedures on all projects

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or another related field
  • Minimum 5+ years experience with Civil Construction
  • Candidate must exhibit leadership qualities
  • Technologically proficient
  • Excellent verbal and written and communication
  • Experience with take offs for Civil Construction (Utility, Excavating, Paving, Sewer Work, etc.)
