About Our Client

An amazing nonprofit organization based in Manhattan is looking for a highly motivated HR Administrator to join their growing and fast paced team.

Job Description

  • Ensures that the new hire process is handled efficiently and ensures that files and records of current and former employees are in compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Coordinates and implements onboarding and new hire orientation in an inclusive, team-based approach with others
  • Administers benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations, utilizing ADP Workforce Now and other outside record-keepers as needed
  • Coordinates and implements annual benefits open enrollment through Bamboo HR and ADP Workforce Now and responds to year-round benefits questions
  • Responsible for inputting and maintaining employee information in ADP Workforce now, including personal and employment information, salary, time off, and benefit elections.
  • May participate in other recruiting as needed, including screening and reviewing resumes, and identifying strong candidates for select positions

The Successful Applicant

  • 2 + years of work experience in HR
  • 4 year degree - preferably in HR
  • Experience working with Benefits Administration , open enrollment , onboarding, internship programs and other HR programs
  • Working knowledge of US Employment laws and regulations
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Ideally have experience with HRIS, ATS systems , and working experience with ADP Workforce and Bamboo HR
  • Experience working in Linkedin
  • Strong work ethic- able to work independently as well as part of a team
