We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Coordinator to join a high-performing team at a family office based in NYC. This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of experience in HR or recruiting coordination, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch environment and is eager to grow within a dynamic organization. The role is approximately 85% HR coordination (recruitment coordination, onboarding & offboarding, etc.) and 15% executive support/special projects. Agency recruiters or those coming from similar, fast-paced environments are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

  • Own interview scheduling across multiple departments and hiring managers
  • Support a high performing and collaborative team
  • Support offboarding processes and documentation
  • Coordinate logistics for internal training initiatives
  • Maintain employee records and assist with HRIS data entry
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and support firmwide HR projects (e.g., engagement surveys, wellness initiatives)
  • Stay current on policies and respond to employee inquiries
  • Provide light executive support to the Chief Administrative Officer (calendar, travel, inbox management)
  • Assist with special projects such as leadership offsite planning and presentation development

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-3 years of experience in HR coordination, recruiting coordination, or administrative support
  • Experience in high-volume environments (e.g., executive search, legal, finance)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable "managing up" and following through assertively
  • Familiarity with Workday and Greenhouse preferred
  • Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting with a high bar for excellence
