Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking an HR Coordinator. The role entails supporting various HR processes to help maintain a smooth and efficient workplace

Job Description

  • Assist with various HR processes to help create a smooth and efficient workplace.
  • Work on-site in Midtown Manhattan four days a week and remotely one day a week.
  • Provide support to the HR department with different tasks and projects.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring adherence to internal policies and labor laws.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions.
  • Ensure accurate HR documentation and manage databases for reporting and auditing purposes.
  • Assist in drafting and revising HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Support recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and managing onboarding processes.
  • Aid in performance management initiatives and employee engagement activities.
  • Act as a contact for employee relations issues, escalating complex matters when needed.
  • Uphold compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards in all HR-related activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Over 2 years of HR experience, ideally within a corporate or financial setting.
  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and experience handling confidential information.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
