About Our Client

Our client is an incredible non-profit organization who's mission is to end poverty worldwide. The organization began in the UK, however, is also very prominent in the United States. Our client is committed to leaving a positive impact and working towards making the world a better place. They are seeking an HR Generalist who shares this vision to join their team in New York City.

Job Description

  • Assist in full cycle recruiting (sourcing, setting up interviews, on-boarding, etc)
  • Help run the internship program
  • Support benefits administration
  • Event planning (staff meetings, lunch and learns etc)
  • Leading the on-boarding orientations for new hires
  • Employee relations issues
  • Assisting with payroll issues
  • Collaborate with other HR members and support on various projects

The Successful Applicant

  • College degree and 3-4 years of HR experience
  • Non profit experience is a plus
  • Experience with Trinet is a plus
  • Organized and able to balance multiple tasks
  • Passionate about the mission of the non profit
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
  • Eager to grow their career and learn from their colleagues
