A Long Island based construction company that is starting to grow. They have 50 corp employees and over 450 union employees. They do amazing work including projects at Citi Field and Hudson Yards.

Description
-Oversee recruitment, hiring of employees, and interviewing
-Develop, implement, and update personal forms
-Negotiate recruiting agreements with recruiters
-Process employee exit procedures
-Ensure new hires complete all training and sexual harassment courses
-Administer 401k programs and check for new 401K updates
-Assist and support all department heads regarding personnel issues
-Prepare job descriptions, coordinate recruitment programs, screen applicants
-Prepare background checks on Nationwide Screening Services
The Successful Applicant
-College degree in HR or a related field
-Someone who is approachable, personable, and knowledgeable
-SHRM-CP/PHR preferred
-3-4 years of HR experience
