Job Description

  • Lead a small team.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Handle employee relations issues, providing conflict resolution when necessary.
  • Administer employee benefits and compensation programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular HR training and workshops.
  • Maintain employee files and HR filing system.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in performance management processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'HR Manager' should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Prior people management experience
  • Proficiency in HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of HR legal requirements and compliance regulations.
  • The ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to work 4 days onsite in midtown Manhattan.
