Job Description

  1. Talent Acquisition:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition plans to attract top talent aligned with the organization's goals.
    • Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.

  2. Performance Management:
    • Design and implement performance management systems and processes to drive employee engagement and productivity.
    • Provide guidance and support to managers in conducting performance evaluations and goal setting.
    • Develop strategies for recognizing and rewarding employee contributions.

  3. Succession Planning:
    • Lead succession planning efforts to identify and develop internal talent for key roles within the organization.
    • Work closely with department heads to assess future leadership needs and create development plans for high-potential employees.

  4. Learning and Development:
    • Design and oversee learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
    • Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and other learning initiatives to support employee growth and career advancement.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.

  5. HR Policy and Compliance:
    • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures across the organization.
    • Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.

  6. Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee grievances.
    • Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, trust, and respect.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements.
  • Experience in nonprofit organizations preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
