Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations Leadership: Oversee the daily HR operations, ensuring management of payroll, on-boarding, off-boarding, time and attendance, work authorization, HR systems, and data management.
  • Benefits Management: Supervise and manage programs including annual insurance renewals, open enrollment, FMLA, 401K, and other employee benefit offerings.
  • Compliance: Provide expert interpretation of HR policies, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations including HIPAA, DOL, ERISA, and IRS. Ensure adherence to EEO, ADA, and FMLA guidelines throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Employee Relations & Development: Serve as the expert in employee relations, diversity and inclusion, training and development, and organizational development.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, address, and escalate HR-related risks to protect the organization.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, adhering to company policies and procedures, and ensuring accuracy in vendor payments and contract compliance.

The Successful Applicant

  • BA/MA in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Communication, Psychology, Accounting, or related.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in Human Resources, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Effectively convey information across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in conducting interviews and assessing talent to align with company culture.
  • Ability to lead teams, manage conflicts, and drive HR initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess HR metrics, employee feedback, and other key performance indicators.
  • Skilled in creating and delivering impactful training programs to nurture employee growth and development.
