Job Description

  • Monitors, records, and ensures compliance with both required and optional training, continuing education, and job performance evaluations
  • Includes oversight of safety training, anti-harassment courses, professional licensing, and skills assessments or certifications
  • Manages the recruitment and selection process for open roles by sourcing, interviewing, and coordinating the hiring of qualified candidates in partnership with department managers
  • Conducts or coordinates background screenings and verification of employment eligibility
  • Stays current on human resources trends, best practices, legal developments, and emerging technologies in talent management and employment law
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
