Opportunity to work fully on-site at a family-owned manufacturing company outside of Houston, Texas. Primary duties will include general Human Resource (i.e. recruitment, employee relations, compensation) in addition to safety management and ensuring up-to date compliance and trainings. Leadership will be a large part of the role to maintain strong company culture, HR administration, and overall safety.

Job Description

Human Resources:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement HR strategies to support business goals, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
  • Recruitment & Retention: Oversee full-cycle recruitment processes, onboarding, and retention programs.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues while maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage compensation structures and benefits programs.
  • Training & Development: Design and execute training programs focused on employee development, performance management, and leadership growth.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal HR regulations, including wage and hour laws, labor laws, and EEO guidelines.



Safety Management:

  • Safety Culture: Foster a proactive safety culture in daily operations.
  • Programs & Policies: Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs to comply with OSHA regulations and industry standards.
  • Training & Education: Conduct safety training sessions for all employees.
  • Incident Management: Investigate workplace accidents and injuries, recommend corrective actions, and ensure proper reporting and documentation.
  • Safety Audits & Inspections: Lead regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, ensuring that necessary actions are taken to mitigate risk.
  • Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and internal policies, ensuring all reporting requirements are met.

The Successful Applicant



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Safety Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of progressive HR and safety experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise: Proven experience in leading HR functions and managing safety programs in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities with a hands-on, collaborative approach.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in HR and safety data analysis and reporting.
  • Cultural Fit: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a family-owned company culture.
