Job Description

  • Act as a trusted advisor to plant leadership, providing strategic HR guidance and support.
  • Partner with management to align HR strategies with business goals and operational needs.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Provide guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Support recruitment efforts by partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and participate in the selection process.
  • Manage onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth integration for new hires.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to support employee growth and career progression.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures as needed.
  • Conduct investigations and manage employee relations issues in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement and facilitate necessary interventions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.
