Our client is a privately-held financial services and banking institution, with 300 employees based in New York City.

Job Description

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Coordinator include:

  • Support HR Business Partners through the recruiting process including scheduling interviews, background checks, new hire onboarding, and collection of employment forms.
  • Coordinate executive assessments and development plans for senior business leaders.
  • Ensure that federal, statutory, and regulatory employment information is up-to-date and communicated to each office location.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of the Internship Program.
  • Create and distribute reports utilizing data from employee feedback surveys.
  • Assist with the preparation of meeting material pertaining to the Compensation & Human Resources Committee, and Board of Directors.
  • Prepare D&I meeting materials for presentation to the Operational Risk Committee, Enterprise Risk Committee, Management Committee and Strategic Planning Committee of the Board and Board of Directors.
  • Organize the D&I and Human Resources materials to submit to the FHFA.
  • Schedule the FHFA Examiners for review of the Bank's D&I program.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting of key budget expense categories.
  • Prepare PowerPoint decks, dashboards, and related analysis.
  • Perform research on new programs or procedures as needed.
  • Partner with HR & DEI team to facilitate the Bank's Mentorship and Allyship programs.
  • Lead all planning for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion events.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating all Workplace Inclusion Team events.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Human Resources Coordinator will have:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-3 years of Human Resources Generalist and/or office administration experience in a financial services or professional services company.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
