The Minnesota office is in Edina.Job DescriptionResponsibilities of the Human Resources Specialist include:Partner with the Human Capital team to support employees through the HR life-cycle (onboarding, offboarding, compensation, benefits & wellness, payroll, HRIS, employee engagement, employee relations, etc.)Own the on-boarding process from candidate offer acceptance through 90 day check-in (eg background check, new hire paperwork, orientation, etc…)Function as an expert for Workday administration - HR transactions, business process configuration, and design, including advising the HR team, managers, and employees in the proper use of the systemManage the ongoing maintenance of the HR organization structure in WorkdaySupport automation and process improvements across all HR SystemsAssist in the review, testing, implementation, training, and communication of Workday system changes and upgrades including the bi-annual Workday releasesSupport on ensuring that Workday is fully integrated with key business systemsPerform detailed manipulation of complex data via tools such as spreadsheets and EIB'sSupport training and engagement to ensure our key stakeholders are fully utilizing WorkdayManage payroll changes for employeesAssist with annual compliance requirements/filingsProvide support on ad-hoc projectsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
