They have steadily grown over the past 10 years and are looking to continue that growth with new, talented engineers who have the ability to interface with customers and translate their needs into engineering projects.Job DescriptionIn this role you will report directly to the Engineering Supervisor and be responsible for: Designing and modifying work centers to reduce material movement and maximize productivity.Developing improved material handling and dispensing methods to decrease labor content and minimize poor body mechanics.Using time and motion study tools to determine staffing requirements and balance workloads across all positions within a work cell.Establishing and documenting standard work procedures for each operator position by SKU or product family, ensuring they are easily trainable for a diverse production staff.Collaborating closely with manufacturing engineers to develop automation solutions.Identifying and implementing a standard ergonomic assessment tool to enhance workstation design and minimize injury potential.Participating in managing the safety program.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
