About Our Client

The client is an early stage CRO who was just named on of Global Mice Model Market's 2022 top key players. In order to help clients from target identification through preclinical development, we have expanded upon our foundation of laboratory animal medicine and science to build a diverse spectrum of discovery and safety assessment services, both Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and non-GLP. The business also offers a range of goods and services to help with manufacturing and clinical laboratory testing requirements for its customers. Our clients can construct a more adaptable drug development model using this wide range of products and services, which lowers costs, improves productivity, and hastens time to market.

Job Description

* Be relentless in developing and closing possibilities for gene therapy and in customer follow-up.
* Point of contact for all sales-related consumer questions including cold-calling.
* Interact with current clients and create sales possibilities.
* Attract new clients while keeping and expanding relationships with current ones.
* Create and maintain fruitful connections with your customers' accounts.
* Coordinate efforts with marketing to promote products and offer feedback on ROI.
* Communicate client issues or complaints to the appropriate departments for quality resolution.
* Regularly attend trade exhibits and assist in planning events and/or presentations.
* Take part in global sales meetings as necessary.
* Quickly complete all necessary sales documentation.
* Updating sales possibilities, sales stages, marketing statuses, and customer intelligence data will help maintain a CRM database.

The Successful Applicant

* A bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific subject is necessary. Strong preferences go to biology, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, and chemistry.
* Priority should be given to candidates with experience in the gene therapy business, particularly in the plasmid DNA and viral vector segments.
* Preferably, 2-4 years of productive sales experience with a complex life science product.
* Proven capacity to understand and master highly technical concepts rapidly, as well as to effectively communicate these concepts to others.
* Excellent verbal, written, and presentational communication abilities.
* Effective communication skills with a variety of customer personality types and strong interpersonal abilities.
* Proven capacity to recognize customer needs, sales-related roadblocks, and solutions utilizing Charles River goods and services.
* Expertise with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) * Working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or a CRM database of a comparable type
