Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsPrivately Held, Global Chemical Manufacturing Client - Growing Business!Position is 5 Days/Week On-Site in Washington County, PA - Flexible HoursAbout Our ClientOur Client is a Global, Privately Held organization that sits in the Chemical Manufacturing space.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Demand Planning: Analyze supply/demand gaps, forecast changes, and recommend corrective actions to avoid shortages or surpluses.Supply Planning: Develop and maintain short- and long-term production and material requirements plans (MRP) to support customer demand and production schedules.Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and lead times to balance supply continuity with working capital optimization.Procurement Execution: Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services based on site requirements and approved purchase requisitions.Vendor Management: Build and maintain effective relationships with local and regional suppliers. Evaluate vendor performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.Purchase Order Management: Create, issue, and track purchase orders (POs) in the ERP system. Monitor PO status and follow up on overdue or urgent deliveries.Cost Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery conditions to ensure best value.
