Job Description

  • Manage day‑to‑day operations for healthcare interiors, medical office projects, and facility renovations.
  • Oversee scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and procurement.
  • Work closely with Superintendents to maintain smooth field‑to‑office communication.
  • Maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients and design partners.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and close‑out documentation.
  • Lead owner meetings and provide professional, proactive communication at all phases.
  • Ensure all activities meet healthcare construction standards and infection control requirements.
  • Support the Healthcare Team Lead in delivering multiple projects annually across the Charlotte market.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interior Construction Healthcare Project Manager should have:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on healthcare interiors or medical renovation projects.
  • Ability to step in quickly and operate independently within a busy PM group.
  • Strong communication, organization, and client‑facing professionalism.
  • Stable work history with reputable contractors; interiors experience strongly preferred.
  • Local to Charlotte or willing to relocate (no hybrid/remote options).
  • Comfortable managing multiple interior projects simultaneously as demands shift.
