Our client is is a general contractor specializing in Class A office, tenant interiors, base building, retail, restaurant and design-build construction services. Their collaborative partnership with clients, design teams, and subcontractors make them a proven brand in the industry. Emphasis is given on adding value to the clients construction process by providing services from early preconstruction to completion.

Job Description

  • Go through job walk through with clients
  • Assess jobs during the project through completion
  • Always come into work presentable
  • Manage all documentation to ensure project is compliant, remains on schedule and remains within budget while monitoring the cost
  • Scheduling projects in logical steps and budgeting time required to meet deadlines
  • Create/maintain relationships critical to success of the overall project and company
  • Track/analyze data to reduce gaps between estimates and actual costs
  • Prepare and present estimate documentation
  • Manage all daily staff assignments
  • Prepare a 3-week look ahead schedule for all activities on job site
  • Manage quality control by confirming that all the equipment and material installed was submitted by a subcontractor
  • Assure good housekeeping across entire site project
  • Review and adhere to the project schedule
  • Facilitate and ensure company safety program
  • Oversee all submittals, RFIs and change orders
  • Solicitation, evaluation and selection of the subcontractors and architects

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • Commercial interior build-out projects (corporate headquarters, law firms, accountant firms, building lobbies, etc.)
  • The capacity to lead and serve as a main "face" of the company as it grows
  • Bachelors Degree in construction management or a related field desired
