Job Description

  • Manage and oversee internal audit projects within the department.
  • Operate as a project manager for internal audit for anything related to training, development, regulatory engagement and other projects.
  • Ensure operational effectiveness and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Coordinate with various teams to gather necessary data and documentation.
  • Identify potential areas of operational risk and propose solutions.
  • Communicate audit findings effectively to senior management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement improvements to the internal audit process.
  • Foster a culture of transparency and accountability within the department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Internal Audit Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • 2+ years of experience within the banking space, ideally coming from audit, risk or compliance.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Proficiency in risk management and auditing processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
