We are seeking an experienced and dedicated IT Audit Director to lead our IT Audit function in providing assurance to stakeholders and senior management about the effectiveness of the company's IT controls. This role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, risk management, and a background in financial services.

Job Description

  • Lead the IT Audit department in evaluating the effectiveness of IT controls.
  • Develop and execute the annual IT Audit Plan.
  • Direct and oversee the audit planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of technology risk related audit engagements, including but not limited to investment applications and infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and artificial intelligence.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure alignment between business and IT strategies.
  • Provide assurance to stakeholders about the company's IT controls.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and regulators.
  • Drive continuous improvement in IT control environment.
  • Enhance the professional development of IT Audit staff.
  • Report to the Audit Committee on the status of IT risks and controls.

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Audit Director should have:

  • A strong background in IT Audit within the financial services industry.
  • Proficient knowledge of IT Applications, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Data, and AI.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior management.
  • A relevant degree and professional certification (e.g., CISA CRISC, CISM, CISSP).
  • Shown understanding of technology risk frameworks (such as NIST, ISO, COBIT etc.).
