We are looking for a highly motivated Senior IT Security Architect who can work independently to perform the necessary architectural analysis and design in alignment with our client's enterprise security strategy. This individual will work closely with Enterprise Architecture and Technology teams to provide and recommend effective solutions that address business requirements by efficiently managing security risks and mitigating the evolving threat landscape.

Job Description



  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to ensure effective solution delivery and provide guidance on security projects to enhance the overall cybersecurity posture.
  • Apply expertise in key Information Security Technology areas to address business requirements and strengthen security initiatives.
  • Evaluate cloud services (SaaS, IaaS) and virtualization technologies, guiding improvements to the Cloud Security Framework.
  • Build and sustain relationships with functional teams such as IT, Compliance, Operations, Finance, HR, Internal Audit, and Enterprise Risk to support both current and future projects.
  • Stay informed about evolving industry frameworks and regulations, including GDPR, ISO 27001/2, SANS Top 20 Critical Security Controls, NIST CSF, and others.
  • Monitor emerging security threats, assess existing controls, and identify opportunities to improve security programs and ensure compliance with security controls.

The Successful Applicant

  • Over 5 years of experience in security architecture with a broad understanding of various security domains.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across teams to advance key security objectives.
  • Skilled in creating clear documentation and reports for both technical and business audiences.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of policy frameworks, procedures, guidelines, and security technologies such as firewalls, IPS, DLP, proxies, SIEM, and endpoint protection software.
  • Degree in a technology-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity) and preferred certifications (CISSP, CISA, CRISC, SABSA, GIAC, CCSP, CCSK) with knowledge of risk management frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and SANS.
