A growing and well-respected commercial construction firm located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago is seeking an Entry-Level Estimator to join its team. Job Description

  • Assist in quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
  • Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
  • Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing and scope details
  • Help prepare bid packages and proposals
  • Maintain estimating databases and project documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers and senior estimators during preconstruction

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Internship or coursework in estimating or construction preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
