Job Description

The Land Manager - Solar and BESS will:

  • Collaborate with the GIS Manager and real estate brokers to identify, select, and analyze potential sites.
  • Coordinate with third-party landmen to facilitate landowner outreach and negotiate contracts leading to executed lease or purchase option agreements.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess site suitability and negotiate contracts, involving travel as necessary.
  • Foster positive relationships with landowners and local communities through regular project updates.
  • Maintain detailed project update records to inform management about the progress of contract negotiations.
  • Manage an outsourced group of land agents

The Successful Applicant

The Land Manager - Solar and BESS will have:

  • Exceptionally organized, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High level of energy, able to thrive under pressure, and adept at meeting deadlines.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in contract negotiations and successful contract management
