Job Description



Key Responsibilities

As the Lead Superintendent, reporting to the General Superintendent, you will oversee field operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Lead and mentor field teams including Assistant Superintendents, Foremen, and craft labor
  • Manage all site activities, subcontractor coordination, and progress meetings
  • Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Utilize Procore, MS Project, and/or Primavera P6 to manage documentation and critical path schedules
  • Oversee all phases from site mobilization, shoring, and mass concrete work through podium structures, dry‑in, and final Certificate of Occupancy
  • Implement QA/QC plans and ensure timely inspections
  • Partner closely with owners, architects, and trade partners to maintain alignment and project momentum

For the Lead Superintendent, we are seeking:

  • 8+ years in a supervisory role within commercial or multifamily ground‑up construction
  • Proven leadership on at least two multifamily new‑build projects ($35M-$75M+)
  • Strong experience with urban infill sites, tower cranes, excavation, shoring, and podium construction
  • Expertise in envelope systems and dry‑in sequencing
  • 30‑hour OSHA certification (refreshed within 5 years)
  • High proficiency in Procore, MS Project or Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office
  • Preferred experience with Mass Timber (CLT) or Cold‑Formed Steel (CFS)
  • Professional, positive leadership style and a strong safety mindset
  • Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening
