Job Description

  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange travel
  • Draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
  • File legal documents electronically and maintain accurate case files
  • Track deadlines, court dates, and key case milestones
  • Assist with billing, time entry, and expense reporting
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
  • Prepare case materials, trial binders, and hearing documents
  • Support general office administration and legal operations

The Successful Applicant

  • Has 3-5 years of legal administrative experience in a law firm or legal department
  • Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management and billing software
  • Understands court filing procedures and legal terminology
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, with strong discretion and confidentiality
  • Thrives in a fast-paced legal setting and takes initiative to support attorneys effectively
