They are four days a week in the office, and every other Friday in office. This position is open due to the current Legal Administrative Assistant retiring.Job DescriptionProvide high-level administrative support to a Partner in the Restructuring practice, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.Manage complex and dynamic calendars, including scheduling internal and external meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and handling last-minute changes.Oversee and manage the Partner's inbox, triaging emails, drafting responses, and ensuring timely follow-up on critical communications.Serve as a primary liaison with clients, maintaining professional and responsive communication on behalf of the Partner.Collect and consolidate time entries from associates.Conduct first-level review of pre-bills to ensure accuracy and completeness.Identify and flag discrepancies or issues for resolution prior to client submission.Plan and execute approximately 12 board events annually, ranging from 50 to 200 attendees:Manage all logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, invitations, RSVPs, and on-site support.Prepare and edit legal documents, correspondence, presentations, and reports with high attention to detail.Maintain and organize client files, both electronic and hard copy, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with firm policies.Support time entry, expense reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed to ensure efficient practice management.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
