Save JobEmail Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsHybrid role with 2-3 days in brand new officeRole supporting SaaS client's privacy and commercial legal mattersAbout Our ClientSaaS client.Job DescriptionThe Legal Counsel will report directly to the US Head of Legal and will be responsible for advising on commercial and privacy related matters for a global SaaS client.Main Responsibilities:Drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, pertaining to software, including: SaaS, SLAs, license, vendor, technology, professional services, master services, confidentiality, IP, etc.Drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements and clauses surrounding privacy and data security, including DPAsHandle legal matters related to privacy or cybersecurity-related regulations such as GDPR, GLBA, HIPPA, etc.Develop strategy for expanding marketsWorking closely with internal functions, specifically sales, to provide timely legal advice under tight deadlinesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
