With a focus on precision, strategic insight, and client-centered service, they are trusted by the world's most sophisticated institutions, corporations, and financial players and their Restructuring Group is widely regarded as one of the most formidable in the industry.Job DescriptionProvide high-level administrative support to the lead restructuring partner and teamManage complex calendars, scheduling, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics.Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and legal documents with accuracy and timeliness.Coordinate internal and external meetings, including court hearings, client calls, and firm presentations.Handle time entry and billing processes with deep knowledge of court-supervised billing standards for bankruptcy and restructuring cases.Prepare monthly billing statements in compliance with U.S. Bankruptcy Court guidelines.Liaise with the billing department to address time entry questions, prepare narratives, and ensure court approval compliance.Monitor deadlines and maintain accuracy across pre-bills, edits, and submission timelines.Open new matters and maintain organizational systems for legal files and client documents.Track and manage ongoing case developments, dockets, and key dates.Coordinate filings with the courts and ensure all necessary documentation is current and properly archivedServe as the administrative point person for a 10-person legal team.Proactively identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce administrative burden on attorneys.Support onboarding of new team members and maintain team rosters, contacts, and key distribution lists.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
