Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Legal Recruiting Coordinator to join their Washington, D.C. office. This role is integral to the success of the attorney hiring efforts, including the summer associate program, lateral hiring, and on-campus recruitment initiatives.

Job Description

  • Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process for law students and lateral attorneys, including scheduling interviews, organizing callback days, preparing offer letters, and managing onboarding logistics.
  • Assist with all aspects of the summer associate program, including planning events, tracking assignments and evaluations, and serving as a primary point of contact for participants.
  • Support on-campus interview (OCI) programs, including logistics, attorney interviewer preparation, and follow-up communications.
  • Maintain applicant tracking databases and ensure data accuracy.
  • Liaise with law schools and legal search firms to manage recruiting pipelines and promote the firm's visibility.
  • Assist with preparing recruiting reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with the legal recruiting team, HR, and professional development departments to ensure a seamless attorney experience.
  • Handle ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as needed to support the department's goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-4 years of experience in legal recruiting or professional services recruitment, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Availability to work overtime during peak recruiting seasons and to attend occasional evening events.
