The firm has locations across the US and is growing their NYC office.Job DescriptionPrepare and submit electronic court filings (state and federal), ensuring accuracy, proper formatting, and adherence to all jurisdiction‑specific rules and deadlines.Manage and maintain docketing calendars, tracking key dates, court deadlines, hearing schedules, and ensuring attorneys are updated proactively.Create, format, and finalize Tables of Authorities (TOAs) and Tables of Contents (TOCs) for briefs and complex legal documents.Draft, proofread, and revise correspondence, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with a high level of detail and accuracy.Manage attorneys' schedules, including coordinating meetings, court appearances, and travel arrangements.Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail.Maintain and organize case files, both electronic and physical, ensuring easy access to critical information.Assist in billing processes, including time entry and invoice preparation.Conduct basic legal research and retrieve necessary documents from online databases.Provide general administrative support, such as photocopying, faxing, and ordering supplies.Ensure compliance with firm policies and confidentiality standards at all times.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
