If you are looking to work for a company where you can truly make change and improve operations this could be the perfect fit for you.Job DescriptionStrategic Planning:Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain operations.Analyze and improve logistical processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.Transportation Management:Coordinate and manage transportation activities, including the selection of carriers, route planning, and scheduling.Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.Warehousing and Inventory Management:Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, storage, and order fulfillment.Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock discrepancies and optimize inventory levels.Team Leadership:Lead and supervise logistics staff, providing training and development opportunities.Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.Vendor and Supplier Management:Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.Compliance and Safety:Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.Implement and maintain safety standards and protocols in logistics operations.Performance Monitoring:Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations.Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement.Customer Service:Work closely with customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.Address and resolve any logistical issues or customer complaints promptly.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
