Job Description

Oversee and schedule routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure the optimal performance of equipment and machinery.
Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, promoting a safe working environment.
Implement and manage a preventive maintenance program to extend the life of equipment and reduce unexpected breakdowns.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and service histories.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the maintenance department.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in a maintenance management role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, machinery, and equipment.
Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
Commitment to safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
