My client is an innovative manufacturer of specialty heat treated and cooled metals for applications in many industries, especially oil/gas, automotive and aerospace & defense. The company is steadily growing and offers room for growth for its employees.

Job Description

This position will report directly into the Director of Engineering and be responsible for:

  • Support customer's technical needs from program initiation to First Article Inspections
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing processes and work instructions for various metal products
  • Ensure product materials meet strict specifications by evaluating material properties
  • Improve processing capabilities using continuous improvement principles
  • Enhance material process flow to boost on-time delivery during production
  • Contribute to the selection and design of tooling, fixtures, and gauges for manufacturing
  • Supervise equipment modifications, upgrades, and automation
  • Promote a Zero Injury Culture through actions and safe job procedure development
  • Hold the authority to perform all assigned tasks and activities

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's in Engineering
  • 4+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Tooling, fixturing, equipment modification, and some automation skills
  • CAD experience, SolidWorks and Cadra preferred
  • Metals experience strongly preferred
