The dynamic environment gives engineers the opportunity to work on a vast amount of projects throughout the year, backed by industry leading health-care business in search of expanding their catalog.Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:Leads/participates in the manufacturing engineering effort for new and product redesign efforts, including:Determining the proper technical approach to solve the product cost and technical requirementsDetermine design and manufacturing requirements of manufacturing and test fixtures/equipmentSolid modelingCommunicating issues with a cross functional team to enable concurrent engineering of the product.Developing early phase selection criteria, prototypes and tests to rapidly converge on a working design.Hands on assembly and evaluation testing of prototypesIdentifying and selecting appropriate component and assembly fabrication techniquesDeveloping an appropriate assembly process to support project requirements, ranging from low volume prototypes through automated production equipment for transfer into high volume production.Generating comprehensive risk analysis, including PFMEA responsibilityReviews existing designs to identify and implement cost, quality, and productivity improvements through advanced approaches.Uses structured problem solving techniques and statistical methods for data driven analysis and decisions.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
