The organization is a small advancing analytical medical device business that is expanding at a rapid rate. They have a large amount of investors expecting to expand the organization by adding 20 new sales representatives across the United States in the next twelve months. The medical technology company is dedicated to the development of the first aesthetic device that drives for the safety of patients through their entirely new technology that fills the gap in the market and industry.

Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Support of all internal and external manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
  • Support manufacturing process development and validation, either in-house or at contract manufacturers with focus on product quality.
  • Help with new product start-ups with potential contract manufacturers.
  • Develop processes that support scale up of manufacturing capacity.
  • Support test planning, development, and execution.
  • Work with R&D to define test requirements, as well as contract manufacturers and external test equipment development partners.
  • Development of manufacturing process validation protocols
  • Maintain relationships with outside contract manufacturers
  • Support R&D team on a day to day basis

The Successful Applicant

The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have what follows:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 2- 5 years of medical device manufacturing experience
  • Experience in developing manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical medical devices.
  • Experience with ISO 13485 compliant medical device projects
  • Clean-room experience
