They provide innovative solutions to the automotive industry, focusing on advanced technologies for mobility and driveline systems.Job Description* Recommend improvements for process optimization, problem resolution, and employee training.* Enhance manufacturing processes for cost reduction, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.* Develop and present plans for process improvements, and manage the deployment, including training team members.* Monitor the performance and condition of manufacturing equipment.* Lead investigations into production abnormalities, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.* Identify opportunities for safety improvements and risk mitigation.* Support capacity analysis and return on investment (ROI) assessments with the Manufacturing Engineering team for current and future plans.* Assist in time study analysis and capital planning initiatives.* Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering team to improve production control systems, standard operating procedures, safety protocols, quality control, and employee training.* Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new or revised products, including setting goals, training teams, and evaluating results.* Design, develop, test, and source various tools, machinery, and equipment for manufacturing processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness.* Conduct product and process analysis to drive cost reduction, quality enhancement, and process efficiency.* Represent the manufacturing department on cross-functional teams.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
